Very recently we at Fusion Studios were involved in filming a client during the PGA Tour in Orlando Florida. We were working with a company called Virtual Golf, who sells golf clubs to the amateur and professional players in the industry.
During the two days of filming, we went out to a golf course in Winter Garden for a demo day and a showcasing of their clubs. The second day involved going to the Orlando convention center for some indoor showcasing of their products and an interview with golfer John Daly. We also had to gather b-roll of the Virtual Golf tent along with various on the go interviews. We used a Pansonic GH5, a monopod for quick on the go shots, and a tripod with a Rhino Slider for cinematic shots.
When filming multiple breakout rooms in a convention, there is a lot that goes on prior to the first day of filming. Here we are going to discuss a real case scenario we went through last month.
We were asked to film at a convention in Bonita Springs Florida by ICU. We were there for a total of 5 days. The client requested that we recorded seminars for serval different keynote speakers throughout the event. Most of the days, we had a total of 6 cameras rolling at once. At the end of each day, we had to hand a hard drive with all the footage, organized by the room that the cameras were in, and what speakers were doing their presentation at the time (in chronological order).
But how important is to have a video showcasing your products, services or your company?
So, really, How IMPORTANT is it to have a video online? well it’s as important as having a website and more!
It’s exactly the same reason why we created this video, we wanted to entertain you as well as educate you. But let’s get down to numbers…to actual facts!

Is your appearance sending the right impression to your customers?
Appearance is vital to any business! and remember. You only have 3 seconds to make a first impression.
Of course, after the first impression, then comes the dialogue and therefore the beginning of a business relationship… but believe me, coming back from a bad first impression will only make it more difficult for you and your company 55 percent of first impressions are based on overall appearance. People often decide whether or not they like you, or if they will do business with you, within 10 seconds of a first encounter.
Multi-camera shoots are very popular nowadays because they add a lot more interesting angles to the video, it makes it more dynamic, and really add the extra value to the final product. The question you should be asking yourself is how many cameras do you really need for your shoot. Let’s say you’re doing a seminar for your company, one camera might be all you need. If your seminar is a few hours long that one shot from the back of the room will start to look a little boring, after a while. Now, If you have the extra budget, a second camera with a different angle will help make the video more dynamic. You can also use the second camera to film the audience whenever they ask questions. Having three or more cameras makes sense when the budget permits it or if multiple things are happening in the room, such as Q&A’s, testimonials, close-up on the speaker, a wide-shot on multiple speakers; also, it will help you make a more dynamic edit afterward. To conclude, when you’re looking for a video production company, it’s important to keep in mind how many cameras you need based on what kind of event you are hosting and your budget.

The team teamed up with Jerry Ross Executive Director of the Nation Entrepreneur Center to interview the Mayor about the business grow here in central Florida and how the NEC has help thousands of business in the region.
Fusion Studios has been grateful to be part of the team that put together the theatrical trailer for the film Los Ocho directed by Famor Botero. The Music in the trailer was composed by Karluca and the editing and motion graphics by Fusion Studios.
Fusion Studios has started to develop their own video production content. Even though we are in Orlando, there are plenty of beautiful places out there and we have embarked into the adventure of bringing amazing landscapes together with great music to meditate, relax, study and even work. In the next couple of months, Fusion Studios will be releasing a variety of videos that will take you to a better stage of relaxation and tranquility. These videos’ durations last long enough to study for a short time, or to listen to the whole day at work, meditate for an hour or just let it play overnight for a more relaxing sleep.
